Yankee ingenuity in cold cold Florida

Hey Everyone,

Thought you might appreciate the micro environment I rigged up around my desk. I work from home and it’s freaking cold here and there’s no way we are going to pay to heat this house, we’d end up heating the whole state of Florida.

So I found a bunch of blankets and hung them from the ceiling around my desk completely enclosing it, and then put a small electric space heater under the desk blowing on my feet.

Works much better than expected! My wife Gisele had to pull the curtains aside to take the pics but I’m in my own little world when they fall back into place.

Me and my jar of instant coffee, it’s even more convenient than an espresso machine. I don’t have to even get up

It’s like a hillbilly cubicle. Sorry to disappoint but I’m not listening to banjo music
